Howard Beggs is an entrepreneur, investor and Founder and Group CEO of Lanas. Howard founded the first company, Medicom, in 1996 and has led the evolution of the company for over a quarter of a century. Howard guided the company from a three-man start up, through multiple fundraisings and investment rounds, senior debt placements and over €150m in M&A transactions, creating the global business that is Lanas today.
Employing a global team of 1,050 people across three continents, Howard champions a philosophy of empowering leaders and management to drive innovation and growth. Key to this philosophy is the focus on greater connectivity between the divisional leadership and c-suite management to drive collaboration and best practice for the betterment of the healthcare systems served by the company.
Howard is passionate about the development of our people, evident through the championing of many internal professional development initiatives including the Clanwilliam Elevate Programme, and ensuring our continued growth is sustainable through effective a responsible business actions in our communities and for our planet. Howard is a Masters Graduate (MBA) of University College Dublin Smurfit School and an Alumnus of Stanford University Graduate School of Business in California.
