The collaboration marks an important step in Lanas’s ambition to build purposeful, long-term partnerships across the health and research ecosystem.

The Humanarium is a public space created by RCSI to engage people in meaningful conversations about health, science and well-being. While still in its early stages, it offers an open and accessible platform that brings together exhibitions, public programmes and clinical insight.

This partnership represents the first of several strategic collaborations Lanas plans to develop over the coming year. It reflects the company’s commitment to initiatives that align with the heritage of its product brands – platforms deeply rooted in serving clinicians – while also supporting the direction of Lanas as a new corporate organisation focused on advancing digital health.

Eileen Byrne, Managing Director at Lanas, commented:

“We’re delighted to partner with RCSI on the Humanarium. It’s an initiative that embodies many of the values that drive us—supporting clinicians, opening up access to knowledge and encouraging deeper understanding of health. This partnership reflects our commitment to working with organisations who share our purpose and our ambition.”

Professor Fergal O’Brien, Deputy Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation at RCSI said:

“As Ireland’s only university dedicated entirely to health sciences, ranked world number one for our contribution to UNSDG 3 “Good Health and Well-being” by the Times Higher Education, RCSI has created Humanarium to empower visitors to take informed, positive steps toward improving their own health, while fostering a deeper appreciation of the advances that are being made in health sciences and medicine.”

“We are grateful to our partners – Lanas, Blackrock Health, AIB and HSE Healthy Ireland for their invaluable support. Together, we will strive to make a meaningful difference to the health and well-being of the people of Ireland,” added Professor O’Brien.

Lanas looks forward to supporting the development of the Humanarium and to building on this partnership as the programme evolves.
